These files contain a 100% walkthrough of the game on the prelast difficulty “Edgar Alan Poe”.
These saves are useful for those who want to play the game for the first time or replay it again, but immediately on the maximum difficulty “H. P. Lovecraft”, which is not available initially (you need to complete the game on any difficulty, except the easiest one).

How to activate these saves:Save path: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\SongOfHorror\Saved\SaveGames
1) Press on the keyboard Win + R, enter %appdata%. Or Start – Windows System – Run. (Or just copy the line from “Path to saves”, paste in explorer and correct “YourUserName” to, oddly enough, your username x) )
Explorer will open, to the left of the path bar, click on the up arrow to exit Roaming to the directory above.
We need the Local directory.
2) Find the SongOfHorror folder, then Saved, SavedGames. Copy the files from the archive with the replacement. If you need your files, then save them to somewhere.
3) Start the game, you will have saves on the first slot. The difficulty of H.P. Lovecraft will be available for selection in the game settings. Choose it. You can start a new game on a new slot.
What to do if the saves did not appear or were replaced with old ones:
1) Right-click on the game in the steam library and select “Properties…”
2) In the window that opens, there will be a “General” tab, which is what you need. Find there “Cloud saves” and turn off the switch. Now the game will not restore save files from the cloud.
